Who we are

Information we collect
- Booking information: name, email, phone number, number of participants and any notes you add when you book. Bookings are processed by FareHarbor.
- Payment information: payments are processed securely by FareHarbor and its payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.
- Messages: what you send us by WhatsApp, phone or email.
- Website usage: pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar tools.
- Photos from your tour: images taken by our guides during the activity, which we share with you.
How we use your information
- To manage your booking and contact you about it, including schedule or weather changes.
- To run the tour safely and send you your photos.
- To answer your questions and requests.
- To understand how visitors use the website and improve it.
- To show relevant ads on other websites and social networks, if you accept marketing cookies.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We will only use tour photos where you can be identified in our marketing or social media with your permission.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with:
- The local tour team and guides who run your activity.
- FareHarbor and payment providers, to process your booking and payment.
- Analytics and advertising providers, such as Google and Meta, as described in the cookies section.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
Cookies
The website uses cookies that are needed for it to work, and optional cookies for analytics and advertising. The map on our website is provided by Google Maps, which may also set cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.
How long we keep your information
We keep booking information for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal and tax obligations. Messages and photos are kept for a reasonable time and then deleted.
Your rights
In line with Costa Rica’s Law 8968 on the Protection of Persons Regarding the Processing of Their Personal Data, and other applicable laws such as the GDPR for visitors from the European Union, you can ask us to access, correct, update or delete your personal information, or object to its use for marketing. Write to us using the contact details above and we will respond as soon as possible.
Children
Children can take part in our tours with their parents or guardians, who make the booking. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children.
International transfers
Some of the services we use, such as FareHarbor, Google and Meta, may store information on servers outside Costa Rica. These providers apply their own security and privacy protections.
